In 2013, Edelman Digital gave PayPal's social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest) a complete reboot, and started creating content to educate, entertain and inspire fans and artisans alike. With a mix of planned content and real-time monitoring, we have created a unique social space PayPal fans can use to connect with local merchants, be inspired and have a dialogue. Throughout the year, we started seeing brand perception shift, and by 2014 we had doubled positive sentiment.

When many companies were announcing security breaches, we wanted to remind PayPal customers that their information was safe.
